Privacy Notice

REL Professional Services LLC operates Florida Dance Connect and is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can browse every event on the site without an account.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email address, login credentials, and name or profile photo if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Organizer submissions (organizer name, event page URLs, contact email) — to review and list events. Legal basis: legitimate interests in running the calendar.
• Technical and error data (IP address, device/browser information, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages you send us — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

We do not collect, see or store any payment information. Donations are made directly through third-party payment apps, and we keep no record of who donated.

Who we share data with

• Payment apps (Square, PayPal, Venmo, or your bank via Zelle) — only if you choose to donate. You interact with them directly; they are independent controllers of whatever you share with them, and we receive no data back from them.
• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication infrastructure, and the services we use to gather public event listings.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

Account and support records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. Error logs are kept for a short diagnostic period. Data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email dmac@relproservices.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority; where data is transferred outside your region we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database permissions so that you can only read your own account records.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your view preferences. Our payment provider sets cookies necessary to complete checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.
